Doctrine

I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God.
I believe in the trinity, the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. One God in three persons.
I believe Jesus, God incarnate, died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins.
I believe He died & rose again, and now sits at the Father's right side, interceding for us.

Purpose

I believe God has given us each unique gifts and there are no two people alike. I believe our purpose is to use our gifts to glorify Him and to encourage each other. When we use our gifts to encourage each other, we sense our purpose.

It's shallow to live just for yourself. The Scriptures even say it's more blessed to give than receive. In giving we receive back more than our gifts.

I also know the ground is flat at the foot of the cross. Only Jesus is perfect and is to receive our worship. He alone is to be lifted up in our hearts and in our lives. God has raised up leaders, but they are to be servants to the body of Christ.

No one, and no thing deserves our attention as much our God who created us. That's another Scripture. It's just required that we walk humbly with our God.
